Our Mum Velda McKelvie Nee Restorick was taken from us in the early hours of the 10th of February 1996.Aged just 28 years old. There was a house fire started after my mum was murdered with a claw hammer the fire also claimed my younger brother's life 9 weeks later after a struggle with 94% burns to his body(Adam Marc Mckelvie aged 3)The man who had killed my mum & brother tried to play the hero by trying to rescue myself & my older brother.The man who done this was caught & sentenced to two life sentences & two attempted murder charges.His name is Andrew Callows. My mum meant the world to me & my brother.There is not a day that i we dont think about her or our little brother. Her friends & family adored her. She was a saint.We miss you Mum as do your Sisters.RIP precious angel xx
Thinking of you
As another year has passed the pain remains the same
for god took you home to be with him 15 years today,
There must have been a reason why but we came not understand why.
One day when our time does come to see you once again we will know just why you were needed so soon.
I wish that you could see the thinks that I have seen
you would be so very proud of all your family.
Thinking of you always dear angel your are with the very best in heaven today.

15th year of your passing
Well 15 years have passed since you was taken away from us and it still only feels like yesterday......We all miss you so very much and if i could have just one wish it would be that everything that happened 15 years ago was just a dream.....I didnt only lose my sister that night i also lost my best friend......Love and miss you so much xxxxx

Footprints In The Sand x
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My child, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
